Choose from over 25 different types of painting and mixed media workshops.  All the tutors are experienced professionals and enjoy sharing their skills and knowledge.. With one to one tuition and demonstrations, these day workshops and longer breaks are suitable for all abilities from beginners through to those with experience. The Windswept Moors - Stormy Weather in Pastels

Create dramatic scenes of stormy weather across windswept moors in pastels with award winning artist.  Photographic reference supplied or bring your own stormy picture.  Demonstrations and indivudual guidance.  All the materials are provided.

Mountains & Landscape with Sweeping Skies in Acrylics

This excellently structured workshop will guide us through, step by step to achieve a mountain, landscape scene with large sweeping skies using fine quality acrylic paints which glide across the canvas.  Working from photographic reference with individual guidance. All the paints are provided.  Suitable for all abilities.
 
10 am - 3.45 pm with refreshments.  Please bring a packed lunch, a 20" canvas and some acrylic brushes (any sort including a 1", household paintbrush).

Blooming with Summer - Textile workshop

Inspired by colour, create a painted and stitched textile piece that responds to Summer. Working from garden flowers, we will capture form and colour with paint on fabric before adding detail with stitch and printed motifs. You'll create a bright and dynamic textile panel that can be framed or made into a bag or cushion.
