What to bring
·       HB or F Graphite pencils
·       0.3 mechanical pencil or fine clutch pencil
·       Kneadable eraser (preferably not a putty rubber)
·       Battery eraser (cheap version will do) used for texturing
·       Magnifying glass
·       Desktop pencil sharpener such as Rapesco 64 or good make with spiral metal sharpening core.
·       A selection of Faber Castell Polychromos Coloured Pencils including nos. 101, 168, 170, 172, 174, 278, 157, 181 & 194
·       Prismacolor coloured pencils if you have them.
·       Blender Pencils – Rembrandt Lyra Splender Blender & or Prismacolor Clear Blender Pencil
·       Alcohol based blender felt tip pen. Prismacolor/Copic/Magic Marker/Letrset Promarker
·       An empty Copic marker or similar (Ann can supply some for £4.50 each) these are for baby oil to be used for underpainting. (Ann will supply Baby Oil)
·       Feather or similar big soft brush for clearing away pencil and sharpening debris
·       Good quality, hot pressed watercolour paper at least 300gms/140lbs – Fabriano, Arches, Saunders and Rising Stonehenge are good makes.
·       Embossing Tools especially a 0.5 Pergamano Extra Fine Embossing tool (Ann can bring these if ordered in advance – they cost £5 each)
·       Layout Paper, thin marker paper or tracing paper as preferred
Do bring along any other coloured pencils you have and any equipment you prefer to use.
Most of the above equipment Ann sells either online or she will bring along to sell in the class.  Ordering in advance will ensure delivery.
