A botanical illustration workshop covering a host of autumn subjects to capture in graphite or/and pen and ink.  Suitable for all abilities with an interest in drawing useful. 
Residential and non-residential places available.
Starting at 2.30 pm on 24 September until 3.30 pm on 26 September
What to bring:
Pencils:       H  HB  B  2B  4B  grades
Craft Knife
Pencil Sharpener
Putty Rubber or Mars Staedtler Plastic Eraser
Ruler or dividers for measuring
Tracing Paper (to keep work clean)
Drawing Board (will be available to use or bring your own)
PAPER:  SMOOTH WHITE CARTRIDGE PAPER for pencil/pen&ink work, e.g. Bristol Board or similar OR (if you wish to add watercolour wash) HOT PRESSED FABRIANO CLASSICO No.5
TECHNICAL PENS – buy those with the ‘finest’ lines (0.1, 0.03, 0.05), BLACK INK, e.g. Staedtler pigment liner, Edding 1800
OR if you prefer a mapping pen quill type, JOSEPH GILLOTT 659. pen & holder, a small bottle of waterproof black ink, a small bottle to hold water, kitchen tissue.
Watercolour paint or coloured pencils if you to intend to add colour.

Subject Matter
Some specimens will be provided but please bring with you any subject that inspires you e.g. conkers, cones, leaves, seasonal fruits, nuts – there will be plenty of choice!
Cushion for chair if you would like one and little bean bag to support drawing board if you have one.
Please bring with you anything else that you normally use.
