The Allotment in Acrylics, Paper & Pastels!

Create a large scale allotment painting using mixed media, acrylic, papers and pastel.  A fabulously creative day observing a range of light, riot of colour and the joy of plants, sheds, greenhouses and flowers in the allotment.  A great course for getting out of your comfort zone and having a go at painting a large painting with blocks of bold colour.  Suitable for all abilities.
 
10 am - 3.45 pm  Refreshments provided with everyone bringing a packed lunch.
 
What to bring 
l Janet will bring allotment/garden imagery but if you have your own you may also use this
l Ideally if you have a large easel and an A1 board to work from otherwise working on to table will be fine.
l I use Arches Aquarelle Hot Pressed watercolour paper 76 x 56 cm (300gsm) – So please bring either the same or good quality watercolour paper (preferably smooth)
l Range of sizes of watercolour and acrylic brushes
l Water pots
l Palette or you could use a plate.
l Range of acrylic paints primary colours, such as Cadmium Yellow, Cadmium Red, Windsor Blue and white. I use System 3, Galeria and Pip Symour  but if you don’t have these specific brands bring what you have.
l Range of colours of pastels and chalks
l Papers/textures for collaging eg. Seed packets, old envelopes, fabric.
l Apron
