In Full Bloom! - Botanical Illustration in Coloured Pencil

June marks the start of the Rose season but there are lots of other colourful summer favourites to inspire too – Irises, Poppies, Lilies and Strawberries as well as fresh vegetables such as Asparagus. Learn to build up their vibrant colours using coloured pencils.  An inspirational workshop with one of the UK's leading colour pencil artists and tutor.  Suitable for all abilities.

The workshop is open to residential and non-residential participants
Starting at 2.30 pm 11 June and finishing by 3.30 pm on 13 June
What to bring
Any water coloured & coloured pencils – preferably artists’ quality
A graphite pencil B or 2B
A pencil sharpener is vital (if possible with two sizes of sharpener) and the blade/s must be sharp!
Eraser – putty and plastic if possible
Sketch pad and paper such as cartridge, hot pressed or Bristol board if you already have some - otherwise there will be some for sale.
Drawing board with low tack tape or clips and a spare piece of heavyweight paper or lightweight card to put between your drawing board and the sheet of paper you will be working on
Please bring some suitable subject matter that takes your fancy!  The tutor will also bring some specimens.
