Magical Botanical Roses in Watercolour

Discover the magic world of roses as you study their varied shapes and wonderful colours, picturing beautiful blooms in watercolour.  The course will include a drawing session, some colour mixing advice and the serendipity of wet-in-wet washes.

Plant Portraits at Portmeirion in Watercolour

Held in the grounds of this wonderful painted village,wander the woodland paths and visit the lakes and temples to draw inspiration for this fascinating workshop.  Enjoy creating realistic plant portraits of some unusual and exotic plants.  Suitable for all abilities.

Language of Flowers in Coloured Pencil, Graphite or Watercolour

The Victorians used flowers as a means of coded communication.  Choose from a selection of garden flowers to illustrate your own coded message.  Suitable for beginners through to those with experience.  An interesting and informative workshop with one to one tuition and demonstrations.

Summer Flowers and Foliage in Watercolour

Summer is a season to ignite and inspuire ones creativity.  Through Friendly and informal tuition and suitable for all abilities, learn technique and composition, brush control skills and the value of the sketchbook.  A rewarding and informative weekend workshop with an experienced professional artist and tutor.

This workshop will start at 10 am on Saturday and Sunday morning and finish by 4.30 pm on each day.

Summer Landscapes - Painting in Watercolour

An opportunity to paint in this beautiful location with internationally respected artist, Jeremy Ford (Sky tv).  Arriving for a painting session in the afternoon of 5 August and departing at 4 pm on the afternoon of the 9th, this fabulous location will inspire you to produce several painting sketches and work towards finished art work by the end of the week.  Jeremy will demonstrate a wide range of painting techniques and provide individual tuition throughout the painting holiday.  Painting will take place outside in the surrounding countryside with the option of using an indoor space if we

Landscapes from the Summer Palette

Bring summer into your painting palette and create rewarding mixed media paintings of the surrounding countryside beyond the wonderfully waving hay meadow.  The tutor will encourage you to experiment with different types of media to achieve interesting and inspiring painting studies.
